Our Family
Just a little update on our family! We now have completed our home in beautiful Brooksville/ Weeki Wachee, Florida. We will continue to serve the Ozarks with pups via the beach! We are so excited to be near the beach and have our pups enjoy it with us!
Hi! We are the Cox family. We make our home in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, in beautiful Heber Springs, Arkansas. We love to be outdoors and we love our dogs to be with us. The journey of looking for a new family pet came when we lost our beloved Maltese "Cricket". Being "dog lovers" our family searched relentlessly for the breed perfect for us. We wanted a larger dog than the tea cup variety. The hunt ended in July 2014 when we discovered the Australian Labradoodle. The low to no shed and allergy friendly dog is just what we were looking for! We got 2! We knew we wanted to share this great breed of dogs with other families who were looking for the same characteristic for which we were looking

The Australian Labradoodle History
The Australian Labradoodle, a mix of Poodle and Labrador Retriever, was originally bred by Wally Conron. Then, in the late 1980's, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, the two founders of the Australian Labradoodle as we know it today, began carefully infusing several other breeds into early generations of their Lab/Poodle crosses, to improve temperament, coat, conformation, and size. The infused breeds include American and English Cocker Spaniel, and the Water Spaniel. The Labradoodles from this mix subsequently have been bred to each other, continuing the multi-generational tradition. The results of the Australian Labradoodles are wonderful, intelligent dogs with beautiful fleece coats that are more reliably low to non-shedding and allergy friendly than other types of Labradoodles such as first generation Lab/Poodle crosses, or first generation crosses bred back to Poodles.
